SAFETY

At Curtis Stout Power, the safety of our employees, the community, and our environment is our top priority. We are committed to providing a secure and healthy workplace, as it is our moral duty to protect our staff and others through keen safety awareness and sound environmental stewardship. Safety and efficiency are not just goals for us, they ingrained in our culture. This means that everyone on our team feels responsible for safety - both their own and that of those around them - and we pursue it each and every day. At CSP, we are committed to a proactive, safety-first approach that starts at the top levels of management and extends to every member of our team. Our dedication to this approach safeguards our team, fosters a culture of responsibility, and guarantees the successful completion of our projects.

The following are safety protocols which CSP follows:

  • Safety Equipment: CSP provides our workers with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), safety gear, and ensure it is used correctly. We maintain and replace safety equipment as needed.

  • Training and Protocols: CSP recognizes that proper training for all personnel, from construction workers to operators, on safety protocols, procedures, and equipment operation is vital. This also extends to emergency response training.

  • Regular Safety Inspections and Site Walkdowns: Regular inspections of equipment, machinery, electrical systems, and structural components are necessary to identify any safety hazards or maintenance issues. CSP prefers a proactive approach and therefore practices preventive maintenance which helps in avoiding accidents.

  • Risk Assessment: Our team performs risk assessments to identify potential hazards, such as electrical failures, fires, chemical leaks, and implementing measures to mitigate these risks.

  • Emergency Preparedness: CSP has well-defined emergency response plans in place for various scenarios like fires, chemical spills, confined space, extractions, falls, accidents, natural disasters, and ensuring all personnel are trained on these protocols.

  • Compliance and Regulations:  CSP ensures that each of our projects comply with all relevant occupational health and safety regulations, environmental regulations, and industry standards.

  • Culture of Safety: CSP fosters a culture of safety among all employees, where safety-first is a top priority, and we encourage reporting of any safety concerns or incidents.

At CSP, we prioritize the safety and well-being of everyone. By addressing every aspect of safety in all of our operations, we ensure that clients, employees, the community, and our environment are protected at all times.
